Lucky4Love: one girl's mission to spread luck and love across borders

Henley, age 10, at a Lucky4Love fundraising stand in 2024.
At just eight years old, Henley turned a spark of compassion into a powerful force for good.
After a family trip to Honduras opened her eyes to the hardships children face in communities affected by poverty, Henley returned home with a mission: to help.
Combining creativity with heart, she launched Lucky4Love, a fundraiser built around her knack for finding four-leaf clovers โ a symbol of hope and luck. With the help of her family and friends, she began handcrafting bookmarks, keychains and painted seashells, adding a heartfelt message to each piece. Her sisters, Adair and Meadow, joined the cause with brownies and lemonade and a steady stream of new ideas. The trio turned a neighborhood stand into a community movement.
In 2024, Henley raised $1,608 for Save the Children โ surpassing her previous goal of $1,300, all before turning 11.
Through her thoughtful work, she continues to raise awareness and funds for children in Honduras and beyond, showing that age is no limit when it comes to making a difference.
Henley's story is an example of the power of empathy, action, and the belief that even small hands can build a better world.
